Layout
Sets the type for new walls you draw. Click an existing wall to select it, then choose a type here to change it instead.
Click to start a wall. Click again to place each corner — the
length follows your cursor and snaps to the grid, common angles,
and existing wall endpoints. Click back near your starting point
to close the room, or press Esc to stop.
Click a wall's length label to type an exact dimension.
Openings
Click a wall to place it there — click again to place more, or
press Esc to stop. Drag a placed door or window to
reposition it, or drag its jamb handles to resize — click a width
label to type an exact size. For a placed door: click it (without
dragging) to flip the hinge side, or right-click it to mirror
which side of the wall it swings into.
Room Presets
Optional shortcut for common shapes — manual drawing above always
works too, and presets add to what's already drawn rather than replacing it.
Cabinets
Drag a cabinet onto the plan to place it — near a wall, it snaps
flush; near another cabinet on a wall, it chains flush with zero gap; a blind-corner or
lazy-susan cabinet snaps into a nearby wall corner. Click a placed cabinet to select it,
press R to rotate 90° (rotating detaches it from its wall) or
Delete to remove it.
